A little information about Kava…
Kava or kava-kava is an ancient crop of the western Pacific. The word kava is used to refer both to the plant and the beverage produced from its roots. Kava is consumed throughout the Pacific Ocean cultures of Polynesia (including Hawaii), and some parts of Micronesia and Australia. Kava is sedating and is primarily consumed to relax without disrupting mental clarity.
Kava is a ceremonial tea consumed in the South pacific Islands that has scientifically proven anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, and muscle relaxing properties. It is a sacred tea that when taken over time brings a feeling of happiness and well being. It promotes mental clarity and has a mild pain relieving property as well, equivalent to taking an aspirin, that gently soothes any aches in the body.
Kava should not be taken with alcohol. Please consult your physician before taking Kava if you are currently taking any prescription medications.
